A sólo unos días del E3, Bandai-Namco ha aprovechado para adelantarnos parte de lo que podremos ver bajo su sello en la popular feria californiana (decimos parte porque no dudamos que la compañía tiene algunos ases escondidos en la manga).

Esperemos que haya sorpresas de última hora, se aclare por fin qué pasa con Beautiful Katamary Damacy y Playstation 3 (en principio el título estaba anunciado tanto para Xbox 360 como para la consola de Sony, pero últimamente ha desaparecido de las listas). De la misma forma, el rumor de una versión de Trusty Bell / Eternal Sonata para Playstation 3 ha estado sonando fuerte...

Esperamos que la compañía nos saque de dudas, veamos varios anuncios sorprendentes (como un nuevo Tales y vídeos de SoulCalibur IV / Legends).

El E3 2007 se va acercando, y aunque este año la cosa no vaya a ser tan pomposa y espectacular como en pasadas ediciones tampoco faltarán la emoción, las sorprensas y los anuncios de decenas de títulos nuevos. Además, es un momento ideal para tomarle el pulso al sector.

Como podéis ver, ahora mismo hay más de 50 juegos para PS3, casi 40 para DS, Xbox 360 y PC, algo más de 20 para PSP y poco menos de dos decenas para Wii... Eso sí, tambiéne estamos a la espera de los arsenales de grandes compañías, como Square Enix, Nintendo, Ubisoft...

La compañía japonesa Konami ha desvelado la lista de títulos que estarán presentes en el próximo Tokyo Game Show 2006 en su stand en las distintas plataformas. En principio, no vemos ningún nombre nuevo en los títulos estando casi los mismos que ya estuviesen en el pasado E3 2006, exceptuando algunas rarezas que con toda probabilidad no veremos en el mercado USA o Europeo nunca. El E3 2007 cambiará profundamente; se abandona el Centro de Convenciones de los Ángeles, Mayo como mes de celebración y se diezma al número de asistentes, que pasarán de los casi 60000 de este año a 5000.

Las razones son varias; la más importante sin duda, el coste del evento, excesivo para muchas compañías. Por otra parte, otras se quejan de que "el evento es tan enorme e inabarcable que es difícil que la gente escuche todo loq ue tenemos que decir".

El presidente de la ESA, Douglas Lowenstein ha confirmado ya que el próximo evento tendrá lugar en Julio y en salas de conferencias de hoteles; el cambio de fecha dará así más facilidades a las compañías desarrolladoras de pulir sus lanzamientos para la campaña de vacaciones a final de año (recordemos que en USA la cosa se adelanta y alarga con Acción de Gracias).

Por último, destacar que el evento pasa a llamarse ahora "E3 Media Festival," con el objetivo de demostrar que tiene cabida más ocio electrónico que el mundo del videojuego.
